Gabriel Zisman is a Vice President of Originations at University Place Asset Management (UPLAM), focusing on originations, underwriting, and acquisitions of real estate investments. His prior experience includes roles at Starwood Property Trust, American Equity, and Brookfield Asset Management. He joined Brookfield following its acquisition of American Equity, where he worked directly with the head of real estate to build out the firm's newly established commercial real estate equity investment platform. Gabriel has a proven track record of sourcing, underwriting, closing, and asset managing real estate debt and equity investments across property types and markets.

Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, he enjoys live music, traveling, and spending time in nature.
