Sam Gordon is a Managing Partner at University Place Asset Management (UPLAM), where he leads the firm’s capital markets strategy, overseeing capital raising and investment allocation. With a keen focus on market dynamics and investor relations, Sam plays a pivotal role in identifying and executing strategic opportunities that drive long-term value for clients and stakeholders.
In addition to his role at UPLAM, Sam is a Co-Founder of Wexford Developments, where he has overseen all facets of the firm’s operations since it's inception in 2014, including strategic investments, deal structuring, development management, and asset oversight. Prior to that, he spent five years at Wexford Capital LP in Greenwich, Connecticut, focusing on real estate investment and asset management within the firm’s private equity funds. His expertise in investment strategy, capital markets, and development has been instrumental in shaping Wexford’s diversified portfolio across multiple asset classes.
Sam graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing golf, and traveling.
